The HeART Lab traveled to China for the annual international conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales (MARSS)!

A huge congratulations to Min Yi Liu and Kaitlyn Clancy on their paper receiving the Best Application Paper Award! 🎉

And congratulations to Siwen Xie, Sophia Aslanidis, and Kieran D’Sena on their excellent research talks. It was wonderful to see so much of the HeART Lab’s work represented at the conference!

Best Student Paper at CSME

🏆 Best Paper Award at CSME International Congress
Our paper on Automated Fabrication of Magnetic Soft Microrobots earned 1st Place at the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering! Huge congratulations to Kaitlyn Clancy for leading this work, with key contributions from Siwen Xie and Griffin Smith. This is an especially meaningful win with over 600 accepted submissions across a wide spectrum of mechanical engineering topics.
